Dodson, a 2012 soft Wisconsin OT commit is leaning towards taking an official to Michigan for his fifth and final visit. I don't think he ends up at Wisconsin.

Yep. The fact they are even considering bringing in Dayne Crist as another one-and-done tells you they have zero confidence in their QB situation behind Wilson. Another stop-gap attempt to get through a season, but this time going after a veteran QB who was benched after one half of one game, compared to Wilson who was fantastic his 4th year at NC-State.
The other big factor could be that Michigan and OSU both have serious needs on the OL, whereas Wisconsin typically doesn't play their OL recruits for a few years.

Don't know numbers, but they are desperate for an OT or two. They have two OG's committed, but both are 3* types and on the small side (6'2"/6'3" ~270lbs). With only one OT in the 2011 class, one (albeit a stud in Norwell) in 2010, and talks that TE Reid Fragel could move to the OL this offseason, I would bet they are hoping to get two true OTs in this class.

Yeah, we are definitely taking one more and we are in on Garnett, Diamond, Kozan and Dodson. I would love to get Garnett, but really it's splitting hairs to a large degree. As long as we get one of them, we will have a killer OL class. Also, I'm getting the feeling that Michigan and Ohio are gearing up for a renewed battle of the titans in the B10, especially in recruiting, and that Wisky and PSU the other teams are just going to be like innocent bystanders caught in the crossfire. It's nothing personal, it's just business.
