Just a question about your commits....

Well, which commit are you referring to? Our Long Snapper?

Look, I know it thrills you to know that one of Michigan's recruits was told that is scholarship was no longer available (Dawson...and that's a fact how it went down, he didn't "decommit"), and I know you love the fact that Michigan has another recruit that would like to take visits (which bascially means once he takes that visit, he's no longer a recruit), but seriously, why would you come over to ask a question that 1) you won't take any answer seriously 2) do you reaaaallly believe that your fans, our fans, etc know more about what is going on than what the actual staffs do?

I WILL put money on it that the coaching staff is staying in touch with those that need to be kept in touch with. In other words, the coaching staff knows what's going on and that's all thats important. Quite honestly, if a recruit has his feelings hurt because the coaches aren't kissing his butt with texts and calls everyday, and wants to decommit / visit other schools for that reason....well....I'm glad if his spot gets filled by another player that wants to EARN his respect at Michigan.

Take our first commit of 2014 for example. This kid is a leader. Ferns has come out and said that he wanted to commit early to help build the Michigan 2014 class. The kid has shown more character during a football game this year than most of us show our whole lives. Do you think the staff feels they have to talk to this kid every week? I can assure you, they don't. I'll take this type of player all day long as opposed to one that looks as themselves as the "recruiting class prize", one that has to wait until signing day to have a full gym at their high school for an announcement with hats laid out on the table. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with it. I'm just saying, Ferns could have done this...he could have waited it out to get offers from all over the country. Instead, he wanted to be a leader of the class....and what some might call....a "Michigan Man".

Sorry to get off topic, but you guys landed a great player in Furns. As a St. Clairsville native, I was really really wishing he was going to choose my Buckeyes. The kid is a monster and has all the heart in the world. He is a work out warrior and a incredible athlete. He will be a team leader and a All American for you guys.

+1 to you and i hope for a great game in the Shoe Nov. 24th, as well as years to come.

Ferns is an excellent start to our 2014 class. It seems like everything I hear about the kid just makes me like him more and more, as a person and a player.
