Had to think this was gonna happen.

  • He should be out already. If this would've happened to one of his grandchildren, would he report it to his boss? If I ever saw this happen to my daughter or any other child, I would first beat the piss out of that person then go to the authorities. Disgusting.

It's really disgusting and disturbing. Can the NCAA do anything about this? or is this just a legal matter?

The fact that a janitor and a GA saw it going on in the locker room and did nothing to stop it, is ridiculous. If I'm one of them, Sandusky doesn't walk out of that locker room. Period.

Its a legal issue, but the damage has been done. This might just be worse than being investigated by the NCAA anyways. It will hurt recruiting.

Wouldn't go down as "Failure to monitor or report" like tressel? I mean this is an infinite amount worse then what anyone has done in a long time.

Exactly. People that do that to innocent children have no business on this earth. I would LOVE to have ten minutes in a locked room with Sandusky or anyone else who does those things.

No, its strictly a legal issue. Could you image the NCAA trying to deal with an issue like this?

If I were a bowl committee, I wouldn't invite them to my game. Of course, they'll still be invited a bowl, because at the end of the day, the ultimate dollar speaks and penn state, love em or hate em, is a cash cow that brings tons of fans wherever they go.

At least they'll be exposed on national television though with their fraudulent current 8-1 (soon to be 8-4) record.

Couldn't agree more. And the fact that he took the kids from a charity that he made for kids in bad social situations.. Absolutely grotesque. He deserves to rot in jail IMO.

This is a sociopath/serial killer mentality. It looks like he set that charity up to basically provide him an unwilling harem. Yuck

He'll get the shit beat out of him jail for quite awhile. Inmates hate people who do that kind of stuff to children. Especially young boys.

The charity thing just makes me want to throw up.

That statements tells you all you need to know about this situation.

Prison Inmates know it's wrong for adults to molest children and make their prison stay very difficult as a result.
Joe Paterno thought he did enough telling his AD who then did nothing about it.

Never good when prison inmates have more moral character than the leaders of your university.

Noah Spence has already ruled them out, this is disgusting, and I feel for the victims and the players that are stuck at Penn State throughout this.

  • Everyone should be gone, from the President on down. Not only do they deserve to lose their jobs (and in some cases, go to jail), Penn State alums, students, and players deserve a completely fresh start.

Obviously, the children are by far the biggest victims in all this, but I really feel for the fans, too. When I think about how much Michigan football means to me, I can't imagine how devastated and betrayed I would feel if something like this happened here. I hope for everyone's sake that they can get rid of everyone involved and move into a completely new era without any of these scumbags involved with the school.

Noah Spence should come to Michigan! I really think that Spence is a Brandon Graham/LaMarr Woodley caliber player.

Moreover, his HS coach LOVES Mattison. Noah's father has also spoken very highly of Michigan. Now would be a good time for Mattison to swoop in...

  • I imagine JoePa will not be coaching this Saturday.

The saddest part is, had this NOT hit the media, JoePa, the AD, the VP, and all the others involved would have gone along with their business, as usual. It took the media and all the negative attention for the school and administration to finally do what should have been done 10 yeas ago.

    What a disgrace.

MSU isn't a very good football program.. takes year of consistent winning to get to that level. - copemoney 1/22/13
