What if another DE commits before he decides? I assume that position will then be closed, unless we have 1 miscellaneous spot left when closing the '13 class. If another DE wants to commit, would the coaches tell that prospect to hold on while they check to see if the offer was still commitable, contact Joe in the interim and see if he wanted to come on board before the last DE spot was taken?

This is why alot people on the SC site weren't worried when he name UM as his new leader. Let's see committed and decommitted to Washington, named SC as his leader and tried to commit but SC won't take his commit yet, then San Diego state was his best trip ever, couple days later names UM as his leader and a week later it's Nebraska. To be honest who knows if he can even get into college. A insider said he hasn't even completed a math class in high school yet
