Probably. He's a great passrusher and we need an OLB who can rush the passer. If Milliner and Jones are both there, it'd be a tough choice though.

Nope, I don't think he fits any other system then a 3-4. If they are going to take an OLB at #5 then it should be D Jordan. He is much more scheme diverse and a better fit in the 4-3 than J Jones would be.

I don’t think anyone was really questioning if he would get cleared or not. The problem is because of his stenosis and the position he play’s he’s going to have a very short career. Marcus McNeil the former Charger LT only played 5 quality season’s before retiring because of the condition.

He’ll get drafted in the first round but it won’t be till after 20 probably. This draft is deep with pass rushers and he’s already been taken off 10 team’s draft boards. IMO he ends up a Seahawk.

But to answer the question no, I would still rather have Ashah. Ansah has a much higher ceiling and with his work ethic and intelligence there’s a good chance he’ll reach it.

If Jones was healthy it would be interesting to see how he would fit in the scheme though. When they drafted Ronell Lewis Schwartz mentioned the possibility of implementing a hybrid DE/OLB in the scheme.
