Good for Tennessee. And I'm especially happy it came at Ohio's expense.
I would love to see Dave Brandon set up a few home and homes with SEC schools like Tennessee, Georgia, TAMU, etc....now that ND isn't on the schedule after this year for a while. It would definitely help our recruiting.

Butch Jones doing work. Already has Todd Kelly Jr., who the Bucknuts thought was theirs. Jones also had a strong finish to the 2013 class. We'll see how he does in the next few years, but this is big. Hurd is a PTP, as Vitale would say

TN has the infrastructure, fan base, and enough talent in the area to be good. All they really need is the right coach. And this is the kind of recruiting they need to do. Got to keep local prospects. Great pick-up. That said, lets see if it sticks.

I'd be lying if I didn't have the same impression though; even early when Hurd was still interested in Michigan, he seemed incredibly positive on the Buckeyes and Meyer.

Because it has to do with our rivals' recruiting and it keeps us informed on what they're doing (or in this case NOT doing .. which is closing)
