Is this board OT friendly?

I don't know a lot about recruiting. I get excited when we get the elite players but I don't find out about it until after they commit. I love Michigan Football and try to go to every game I can. But I can't add much that you guys don't already know. Can I post OT stuff here?

I don't see why you can't post all the OT stuff you want, but if you want just jump in the GBOD thread or Upvote thread and that's pretty much all OT stuff all the time.

It would be nice if we had a separate OT board, and a Michigan bball/hockey/etc. board as well.

All in due time. Gotta keep growing the site before we fragment it. You have to make sure you'll have a dedicated community on each board so we don't end up with multiple dead boards. Bucknuts has 7 boards or so, and only 3 or so are actually at all active at any given time.

I understand, and figured that was what was keeping any additional boards from being created.

I was a part of Scout when they had separate premium boards for Hoops and Football and it was a disaster. I'd bet 90% of the posters never checked the Hoops board or participated in any discussions. They ended up combining them to try to get more discussion going.
My suggestion to the 247 staff would be to allow tagging of threads by the creator/mods to say if it's Football, Hoops, OT, or a combination. Then posters could choose to filter out stuff they don't want (on a prefs page) to see, or see an indicator on the thread to know if it's hoops or whatever.

I agree, I dont want to read anything about basketball, hockey or anything besides football
