  • I think Bunting would definitely fit well in Michigan's offense in the same way they use Funchess at tight end. Just got word that we are starting Bunting out as a three-star prospect with an 87 overall grade. I feel like Bunting definitely has the potential to get up to four-star status in the future.

  • First thing I noticed he knows how to choose music, Thunderstruck is the greatest song ever. Then his speed really jumped off to me for that size and would say his route running is definitely above average which is something you don't see everyday. Also, he has to have some big hands because he makes some more difficult catches look easy.

I was one the fence with Bunting, but watching some more of the film he deserves an offer in my opinion and agree he will end up being a 4-star.

  • What I liked on video was how fluidly he runs. He's not necessarily a fast starter, but once he gets going the feet pick up and in the way you want an athlete to look.

Are we looking at him for TE? More upside there, and he could also be split out if necessary. Clint, any insight on how his line blocking is? He definitely needs to bulk up if that is where he will be playing mostly.

He only plays receiver for his high school so there is no line blocking film. And yes Michigan is looking at him as a TE. I think he can be a TE like Funchess, where he lines up particularly in the slot and doesn't do much blocking attached to the line.

  • What I love about his film isn't just his route running, but also the way he catches the ball with his hands and not his body. He seems to be very physical when it comes to going up and getting the ball at it's highest point and shielding the ball away from the DB's. Also like the way get appears to turn his body on a lot of the catches across the middle to lessen the blow from the linebacker's and safeties.
