I penciled the 2014 class as the measuring stick for me. He will have had 2-3 years of re-establishing the Michigan name, and move into new pipeline areas. Michigan is in on MANY top kids for 2014. While we will probably finish in the top-5 for 2013, I see #1 recruiting ranking for 2014. The wave is building slowly between our coaches and the 2014 kids. The fruits of an early 2013 class lock-up will be seen next February.

Your hubris is somewhat disconcerting, to already say that we will have the #1 class in 2014. We are in on a lot of top prospects that have interest in us, being somewhat tantamount to earlier in the year with this current '13 class. I always feel its better to under promise and over deliver. With that being said, from an objective stance, it more rational to assume right now we will have another top 10 class in 2014. Once more kids start to visit, and we get a few commits on board while grasping the interest out there, then we can maybe predict a top 5 class, then top 3 if it comes to that, but anything in that range right now would be bias and misleading.

First, I would be ecstatic if Fuller committed to Michigan. Of his four finalists, Michigan has the educational advantage, tradition, and best path to achieving domination in its conference - particularly in the defense-minded B-10. Fuller would be a very special player in the B-10.
Second, I truely believe this years class is building towards next year. When BH came aboard, I penciled the 2014 class as the measuring stick for me. He will have had 2-3 years of re-establishing the Michigan name, and move into new pipeline areas. Michigan is in on MANY top kids for 2014. Last, OSU and MSU are taking notice IMO. While the fan bases are disillusional, the coaches are smarter than the fans. Michigan is recruiting the snot out of MSU, and making OSU sweat in their own backyard. ND is feeling the heat as well. Again, fans will deny and talk smack on the boards, but the coaches are watching the situation much more closely.
