Illinois 2013

  • Anybody else think we should just set up recruiting base camp for 2013 in Chicago and operate from there? Ethan Pocic, Ty Isaac, Kyle Bosch, Logan Tuley-Tillman, Laquon Treadwell....all star recruits, and all have Michigan at or near the top of the list. Ohio won't be nearly as friendly to us in 2013 as it was in 2012...Illinois looks like the place to be.

  • Illinois is the Georgia of the North. Ton of talent that leaves the state every year.

  • I wouldn't mind hitting Illinois hard next year espically the state has some very high talent players who Michigan is in very good position with all of them.

  • It sounds like Michigan is in a good position for Bosch, and Michigan may have leap-frogged ND for Isaac's services.

  • Agreed. I've been saying for a while that if we can set up shop across the Midwest, we will be golden.

    Part of the reason I wanted Chris Bryant and Jordan Diamond is because I wanted Michigan to create a pipeline to Simeon HS (who coincidentally are also Wolverines). I'm not sure where it stands as a football school but it is one of Chicago's elite powerhouse basktball programs. Having a good relationship with that school can yield two-fold benefits.

    That's what I'm hearing too. Pocic and McGovern also really, really like us and by the looks of it we lead for Treadwell and LTT. Hopefully we clean up the state in 2013!!

    Definitely a satellite office at least.

    As for Ohio, we always get ours.
