  • I watched his tape and liked what I saw.

    We need tall/fast CBs like him if we want to have a strong secondary.

    Frank thanks for the link. But am I missing something? I was not blown away by this highlight reel. I like Dawson and I would like to have him in this class. Because you are right UM needs big and fast CBs. But I seen a couple of clips where he was beaten or out of position. I am sure they are all coach-able. Anyway do you thing UM flips him this weekend and do you think Hunt commits as well? Thanks

    His highlight tape doesn't show him to be a lockdown defender but that's not what I was looking for.

    When I watched his highlight tape, I wanted to see if he could excel as a CB in press coverage and man-to-man coverage. I saw enough to suggest he'd be very good at both.

    He's tall but slender which allows him to be fluid. And he seems to be wide-shouldered which means he'll be able to add weight/muscle to get stronger (i.e. more physical).

    I don't know about Reon Dawson but there are very positive vibes about Cameron Hunt. But (as things stand now) I'm not expecting a commit this week.

    So I did miss something. I am new to braking down film. Unless it sticks out like a sore thumb I will miss it. Thanks for showing me what you were looking at and pointing it out to me.

    I do like how tall he is.

    My only concern watching the film is that he doesn't seem physical enough. He seems a little tentative at times.
