If Hoke doesn't offer Braylon's little brother...

  • Wouldn't bother me one iota if they don't see him fitting under their plans. Personally cannot stand Braylon's big mouth.

Bet you were cheering for him when he single handily beat MSU though. I don't care about his personality, I care about his play on the field( i sound like Sparty)

Newsflash: past heroics do not absolve him of recent transgressions. Spectacular college player.

If you were berkley wouldnt you want to say that you earned yourself a scholorship as opposed to saying your rich older brother paid for you. Lol even P.Diddy's son earned a scholorship

    100% agree

Of course, but that's not a reason to offer him. The coaches have other prospects rated much higher on the board and are doing exactly what they should be doing ... they are pursuing those higher rated prospects first. If we still have room for Edwards by the time the coaches get down the board to where they have him rated, I am sure he will get an offer. If we don't, he won't. We have two players on the team right now who have younger brothers in the 2013 class who have not yet received offers. You can't offer everyone.

It might be the principal of not offering his brother a scholarship that might be the issue for Braylon.

I think thats exactly what it is, obviously it would be no big deal for braylon to pay tuition for 1 more but he wants to see his alma mater want his lil bro, can't blame him for that but we do have a crunch in this class, we seem to have a good shot with some wlite players at positions we need depth but you never know what may happen

agree that the coaches are doing the right thing, you can't take everyone and they have to go after the best they can get, however i would argue this situation is different, Roh has been a good (but not great) player for us and Miller has yet to play a down, on the other hand berkleys father and brother were Big time players for UM but in the end we have 3 spots and many other kids ahead of berkley i don't think we should offer unless we miss on others first
