  • Unless you blow sunshine up people's ass you get banned or threads get locked. The fact still remains, the RB position and coach is hurting this team and Hoke better make a change if he wants to compete in the Big 14-16 in the future.

    I do believe that you are living a pipe dream though. If you think the RBs are the problem with the running game this year, you don't know much about offensive lines.

  • Yes, because it's Fred Jackson's fault the offensive line play has been awful this year and the previous coaching staff's offensive philosophy left Michigan with almost no RB talent.

    But if you want to complain about, go for it.

    I think it's funny that a lot of people don't think that is a traceable thing.

    Were pretty lenient here but obviously we don't want our boards getting out of control. I think you have a valid discussion point here. Do I agree that Fred Jackson should be fired? No... But your right, at the end of the season the HC has to evaluate his staff and if someone isn't getting the job done, you may have to make changes no matter if they've been there for 25 years or one year. Just the nature of this business.

    I don't think that post should of been locked either it is a healthy debate if you want what is best for Michigan football. When your running backs are basically useless in the scheme that relies on play action.

    Who is threatened by the play action when typically our backs have spent most of the time dancing in the backfield instead of toughing out a two or three yard run. Our backs lately have spent more time running East and West and it hasn't been improving as the season(s) progresses.

    You think Fred Jackson coached the offensive line not to run block for his backs?

    This year's running game results are not a product of the actual backs, it's a product of the offensive line play. Tends to happen when you lose college football's best center.

    Explain to me how Denard does very well with the same OL? But when the RB does poorly it's the OL fault?

    Let's focus on Fitz since he is the only RB FJ will play. Unlike Denard, Fitz dances too much, lacks quickness behind the LOS and runs east-west instead of north.

    Rawls runs hard and hits the hole, but he doesn't see game action.

    To the guy who keeps talking about me pretending to a be MSU & Ohio fan. I asked about radio host Mike valenti. How does that make me a fan of MSU?

    As far as Ohio, I was over there busting their balls. It is Ohio-Michigan week. It's what i do. Nowhere in any post did I come off as a secret fan. You boys are too sensitive.

    Denard is able to be successful because he has an extra blocker when he runs.

    I'm sorry, but this is the dumbest thing I've read in a long time.

    Let me put it to you this way. Denard does not need a hole. He creates, plain and simple. There are no others like him. Fitz does not have holes to run through. Rawls runs hard and has good speed but his vision has been awful this year. He needs reps to get better. I mean, I've literally seen a small hole open and rawls will just run right to the defender.

    Could we have better backs? Yes, yes we could. But if Tou open a hole, i could run through it. And right now the line is not opening holes. Couple that with the fact that we have a run based offense and people are using run blitzes on first and second down a lot. This isn't rocket science, its not difficult to see.
    Now, where is the real wifeofsofla, ducks and i haven't been ski poled in a while.
