USC has steady improved academically over the past 25 years, one of the fastest rising in the country.

Michigan has a 50% acceptance rate, while USC had a 24% acceptance rate last year...that has now dropped to 18% with USC recent switch to the common application - the same one Michigan, Stanford, Harvard, Yale...use.

Please, rather you wish to admit it or not, USC is a great school, and consistently on of the "Top 10 Dream Schools". Evidently, some are getting it out there.

    USC has improved.

I was surprised to see Ohio has as well. They now only accept 68%. You used to only need to pass the GED to get in. Though knowing its Ohio, they probably count in those that applied the 30% that forgot to complete the application.

Other than Stanford and Cal Tech, UCSB was always the next toughest school to get into in California. But that was only because the girls were cuter than at USC and UCLA...plus there's the beach parties.
