I believe I used the phrase "The Hangover times ten" when telling him what it'd be like. He's the first of our group of friends to get married, so we're going all-out in Vegas while we're young and we have disposable income.

Same here! I proposed to my wife at the 06 OSU UM game, and I seriously cannot remember how I did it or what I said! I think I almost pooped my pants!

Yeah, I agree, every relationship is going to have it's ups and downs but I know that I found one that's willing to ride out those ups and downs with me.

Be prepared for the following because it is bound to happen:

- first question anyone asks you is going to be 'what's the date?'. Even though you just got engaged, they'll expect your wedding planning is already to the point you know when and where it will happen. Have fun with it and tell people it's the same day as something they are planning, or some place like Belize or something.
- second question youll start getting it 'when are you going to have kids?'. Even if you aren't going to, are trying and it's not working, or are already pregnant, the female population will ask the question.
- 'I'm just so excited to marry you it doesn't matter.' This is your go-to answer when inevitably something comes up related to wedding planning. You'll be asked your opinion on something you don't give a .... about, but won't know how to respond.
