How many TD passes do you think Denard will have this year?

  • He had 18 in 2010 and 20 in 2011. We all know he'll have 10-15 rushing but I'd really like to see him throw the ball more this year. I'd be happy with 25. Anyone think he'll have more than that?

  • I would have to say 25-30. I think this year he will surprise a lot of people. I also think our O=line will be better this year.

  • 30. 18 passing, 12 rushing.

  • If he has 20 TD in the air and reduces his INTs to under 10, we're gonna be in good shape. He'll probably get 15 on the ground. That's a good year.

MSU isn't a very good football program.. takes year of consistent winning to get to that level. - copemoney 1/22/13

    jeez someones pessimistic

25-30 seems right to me, I see him stepping it up a fair bit this year.

This is probably the range, the better question is who is gonna catch the majority of those TDs? I'd bet Gallon ends up with the most TDs of any WR this season.

  • I think he'll be right around 20 again. 25 being the max. We will still be a running team with 2 great options in the backfield with Denard and Fitz.

Not pessimistic, I just see Fitz having a big year.

  • 22 passing and 12 rushing...with only 8 ints. 2500 yds passing and 1100 on the ground. Fitz will rushing for around 1300 or so yds with 11 tds. Our offense will be very dangerous and potent. If our D Line comes around it could be another special season.

That's the first question I asked myself too. Agree on Gallon completely. Even when he's not targeted in the end zone, he's still a threat for yards after the catch to get him in there.

I'm going 23 passing, 13 rushing for Denard.

  • I think denard gets 20-25 passing tds and 15 rushing touchdowns. I also think denard will cut the number of ints he had in half. I think fitz gets at least 1,200 yards and 15 tds.

Gosh I love this post. I hope it comes true.

The offensive line is going to improve without Molk? I'd like to agree but I just can't.

  • 18-20 IMO, with 15-18 on the ground.

I bet we see 35-40 TD's scored on the ground this year, that's where we will make our money.

I agree Molk will be truly hard to replace and I doubt we will have a replacement as good as Molk. If I am not mistaken though most everyone else is going to return on our O-Line. I just feel that with our returning men as a whole we will be better.praypraypray

I think Denard throws for 28 and rushes for 14. I might be overly optimistic but I think we just might see one of the best offenses in Michigan history next year.horn

Our line will not be as good as last year...no doubting that. Will it be close? Maybe. Will it be better next year than we've seen since Lloyd Carr? Yes, most definitely. Doesn't matter though because Denard does not need a great line to be dangerous...we saw that his sophomore year. Heck, it might even be better for him cause he'll improvise more and take off running. Fitz will get his yards either way because of the amount of carries he'll get. I'm not worried about our OL making holes for our run game. I'm more worried about picking up exotic blitzes and communication because we lost a great leader in Molk. He was our rock in the trenches and made sure everyone was on the same page. So pass protection might not be as good this year, but I still think we end up running the ball 60% of the time or more. goblue
