Top 5 of what? Your half of the SEC? That MAY be a possibility. We all know you're not talking about top 5 nationally. Let's get realistic.
I think at least most Michigan fans were realistic knowing they were overrated at #9 going into this season. However, this is borderline delusional.

And Northwestern was 2-0 against the SEC...does this mean they OWN the SEC? Both teams they beat were bowl teams too. FWIW

It would be an advantage for green to go sec and play against tougher competition. He has to know that doing that will help him become more draft appealing, it should be a no brainer.

you must not be aware of Fielding Yost and how he created the linebacker position.

Doesn't Tennessee have a National Title more recently than Michigan? In the worst decade of UT's history, they still went to the SEC Title Game 3 times.

If you look back at our previous posts kylebennett7127 stated that Mich has had a small 3 year blip and challenged the similarities in the two teams downfall... So it wasn't just an arbitrary date. I understand where you are coming from though. Granted we have a had a slightly longer skid, however we did get Kiffed...and that set us back 2 years alone.

Can we stop talking about which program had a worse run than the other? I know Tennessee is one of Green's 3 finalists, but this has gotten so off-topic and has no place on this board. I'm pretty sure each group would rather just move on from the down period and forget about it.
