  • Let TN be competitive for, say, 1 year and then you guys can talk. Until then, um...yeah, we are going to ignore you the way we ignore most teams with a losing record.

The funny thing is, there have been respectful Vols fans on here...this one, not so much.

  • About the same as when you guys picked the wrong guy. What has big blue done since app state came into the big house ? We own the all time series over u. We also have have won a national title in the bcs era.

Dude...at least we went to and won a BCS Bowl game. And two winning seasons in a row...better than zero in a row.

When Michigan was in the doldrums, I would never have gone to another team's board and talk crap. You look like a buffoon.

This isn't about Tennessee...it is about not letting fools act like fools.

Err...what? What the hell are you talking about? This is clearly the Michigan board. That doesn't mean it's for Michigan posters only, as we're not BOL so we allow other fans to post, but this is very, very clearly a Michigan-centric board.

i agree, on my computer it is listed as Wolverines247, so that would make it a Michigan based board you would think.

Derrick Green isn't going to UT. If he goes anywhere other than U of M...it will be Auburn.

Seriously, who talks crap about a better team when your team is absolute crap? UT is losing its QB and best receivers too, so they're not about to be that much better next year.

Michigan is the best spot for him, and most neutral observers agree with this statement. TN will never do anything in the SEC, except the occasional 10 win season. I fashion TN similar to MSU in the B10. Brief periods of good years, but mainly average years.

You obviously know nothing about UT then. From 1925-2010 UT was the winning-est program in college football! Please don't judge UT by the last 3 yrs because this to shall pass!
We averaged 10 wins a year for 17 years so how is that the periodic 10 win season. You're an idiot!

FYI... we've beat bama over 40 times the most of anyone....

Ah, just like a Tennessee fan to live vicariously through their betters in the rest of the SEC. Classic.

total games played Michigan 1253........Tennesse 1206............wins Michigan 903........Tennesse 799...we have only played 47 more games than UT yet we have 104 more wins............hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm do the math.

He qualified it by saying from 1925-2010, but that choice of an arbitrary cutoff date is hilarious, since, as you showed, Michigan is the winningest program of all time.

  • Get a grip, Tennessee has done more since college football's inception, neither michigan or tennessee have done diddly squat the last few years. It would be an advantage for green to go sec and play against tougher competition. He has to know that doing that will help him become more draft appealing, it should be a no brainer.

Wait, what? Really? Have they won more games than Michigan? Have they won more championships than Michigan? Do they have more Heisman winners? Do they have more award winners overall?

It's patently ridiculous to say that Tennessee has done more since college football's inception.

  • Can we get these guys blocked or their posts deleted? Jesus...this is no fun to have to scroll past idiots comments all the time.

Surprise: Idiot UT fans have an overrated sense of self. Like every fanbase's idiot fans. Now can we get back to Derrick Green?

  • Allow me to continue with the trend of picking arbitrary dates to create statistics that support my opinion:

Since 2010, the BigTen and non-Alabama schools in the SEC have had the same number of RBs taken in the first round of the NFL Draft - 0!

The data clearly shows that Derrick Green should attend Fresno State if he wishes to make his draft stock more appealing. Every running back that has been drafted since 2010 from Fresno State has gone in the first round!!!

  • We are in and play against tougher teams weekly than you all ever play, seven straight bcs titles have been won by sec. If you really need a shoulder to cry on, go ahead because the win streak is gonna keep rolling. Tennesee may be down, but we are on our way back up. A decent team in the sec is a better team you play all year as part of that weak conference. Just because you went to a bowl game(which you lost to by a team we almost beat in their house) doesn't mean you are high and mighty. The sec is where the big boys play. Any team in that conference can beat a team from any other conference at any time on a given week. However you were 0 and 2 against the sec this yr.

UTn's recruiting class is ranked 10th...in the SEC...by 247...29th over all. I guess things are looking up for them as at least they are rated higher than Kentucky. If DG cares about academics, football, coaches and future prospects he'll come to Michigan. If a propect cares more about good looking girls (yes I admit this is important), the weather or being the whipping boy of the SEC then Tennesse and Auburn are very desirable places to go. I agree with h_s...a troll every now and then is good for laughs, but lately things are getting out of hand and boring.
