Correct. Basketball is irrelevant at this time. From what I have read he wants football, as this is his ticket to stardom. He will has his pick of elite schools, which is not going to be MSU. Does he come to UM? I am doubtful, but we shall see. OSU and ND are formidable candidates, with OR and USC outside chances. I could see him in the SEC, as FL and GA could both maximize his skills in their offense.

I don't see it. He committed to Tom Izzo not Mark Dantonio. And when he reopened things, his first call was to Tom Izzo not Mark Dantonio. I'm sure he feels bad backing out, but it's a classic case of not wanting to tell someone something you know they don't want to hear. So, technically, he says he has not decommitted. But of course that's what he's done. You aren't committed to a school if you are gearing up to visit a bunch of other schools to decide where you want to play football. That is the definition of being uncommitted. Is Sparty still in the mix? Sure. Just like they are for any number of players from the state of Michigan that UM and ND and OSU are also pursuing for 2014. But I wouldn't place any money on MSU being his choice when all is said and done. His primary reason for picking MSU was Tom Izzo and that reason no longer applies.
