The things Kalis says are really not that bad. It kind of reminded me of those wrestling interviews. You can't really take it too seriously. What I really think bothers them is how he mentions not wanting to talk to Meyer and that he committed to Tressel and not to the school.

I completely agree with the above statement. If anything, the Meyer-related comments were incendiary, not the blood comment. I think Kyle's just wired a bit different after speaking with him.

Ha; that interview brings back some memories.
Story time: Kyle actually gave me a lot more quotable stuff that I didn't print in the original interview. I remember literally asking him four times if he wanted me to print what I had and he was adamant on me doing so. His personality was probably the most unique I covered in the 2012 class and maybe ever. He really is/was sort of the mad scientist type...playing the piano, blood on the field, etc.
One thing I know is that he was definitely really upset about the threats made on him and his family. I think it's why he was so aggressive in the interview, and understandably so. Even after the interview blew up and got a lot of pub, he never hesitated to give me a quote or thoughts whenever I asked for one.
EDIT: I remember being really nervous to publish it. I didn't want to be looked at as sensationalizing his situation; I think I just ended up catching him at a time where he was really emotionally charged about the threats, etc.

What makes you think ohio will run away 4 years straight when they squeeked by at home last year? The recruiting classes have been equal on paper, with each team having strengths in nearly all areas. If anything last year made me more confident, UM only lost by 1 possession in columbus with a roster that had 1 PLAYER invited to the NFL combine, and was transitioning at the end of the year rather than rolling full strength.

Videos? From what I recall those were text. And they were a part of Tremendous, which is no longer reachable. Tremendous links here.

Agree. You know how Alabama just runs over teams, play after play after play, even when those teams are LSU and Georgia and undefeated ND? Now imagine that again, but swap out the Alabama Helmets for Winged Helmets. It is going to be a beautiful thing to watch.

That's what I want, more than anything. Smashmouth Michigan football where we're establishing a line of scrimmage 3 yards ahead of where the ball is snapped. I've always been a proponent of building teams from the trenches out, and our big uglies are going to be gooooood.
