These coaches identify what they want and get after it so fast. We will lose recruits we lead for at times, but the law of averages will put us in a highly favorable position, all due to all the coaches hard work. Good job steve

No.
Not at all actually. Think about the kids in the 2013 class who actually visited. I don't think there was but a couple kids who didn't have Michigan in their top group until the end. That's why getting somebody like Hood on campus will really help Michigan's chances IMO; if they can just get them here, they have been incredibly impressive when it takes place.

Helm is the kind of TE that is split out a lot, similar to a Tony Gonzalez. His HS throws a lot of deep balls to him and they do a good job apparently of getting 1 on 1 coverage for him. Once the the ball is in the air...he is does a nice job of high pointing it and using his 6'4" frame to shield defenders. Would be a great addition IMO and unbelievable offensive weapon. Seems to be a pretty decent blocker as well. Will have to put on some more weight for the next level but I don't see a problem with that. Kid has a ton of ability and could be a huge get and add another weapon for Suga Shane

Meh, maybe a little more complete than Funchess....more of a pass catcher than run blocker, but he is an accomplished blocker too for his size. Just needs to put the weight on and he'll be an all around TE. Funchess is the better athlete, but IMO Helm is the more complete TE at the same stage in their career.
