Has Hoke recruited too many playmakers?

There is a good chance a few of these kids will end up at other positions. That or they wiill transfer later which will open slots then. We have plenty of OL and if Hoke want yet another lineman he will get him.

That, and if its true we let our rivals get a receiver that is quite a bit better than any from our own 2013 class.

Seriously, I call BS on that story. It's not like our coaches would turn down a 2nd good receiver on the off chance that we get a really good receiver.

Ducksworth stated earlier in the thread that we have the same amount of OL. How many were we supposed to go after in 2013? We'll be needing alot next year and im sure UFM will get them
And cmon the 4.2 was sarcasm with Jacobs! He is fast with a solid offer list. That means more than 3 stars imo

He was making a satirical parallel example (IMO) of Ohios situation with D. Green, how they didnt recruit him because of higher people on the board, then he ends up going to your rival and being better then the RB that committed to you.

Quantity of the incoming class, not the OLs currently on the roster. And you should be going for 3-4 per class. A class of two is just asking for trouble down the line. In an ideal world, you want to rotate through 2-3 seniors and 2-3 juniors on your OL constantly, with the occasional superstar sophomore thrown in. Based on how many linemen pan out, on average, you'll want to take 3-4 per class, minimum.
