Harris, Weber Headline Visitors

    Michigan is hosting another group of top targets this weekend. There aren't as many as last weekend, but the opportunities are there to make gains in certain races.

    I think this is definitely a possibility. There are others too; Brandon Lee comes to mind, as does someone like Melvin Keihn out of Gilman.

    i like Winovich and brandon Lee's game more then I do Fuller's

    Possibly. I'm still kind of surprised he hasn't gotten an offer yet either way.

    Keihn sort of projects either to SAM or WDE also and may be towards the latter.

    I personally see this as an important visit for Harris, as it could very well be the first time he tries rooting for UM and against MSU (as he's been an MSU fan for awhile now).
    If he finds it hard to root for UM and against on Sunday, it could put a premature damper on UM's groove.
    Conversely, if he finds it easy or *gasp* enjoyable *gasp*, then it could prove fatal to MSU chances.

    Now, this all may seem obvious, but I'm suggesting that this big 'swing' event will be taking place this weekend.

    What do you think of my theory?

    I definitely think that's possible.

    I've been relatively pro-MSU in Harris's case as I think they're not the afterthought in his recruitment that some believe, but I do think it's telling that he'd visit Michigan this weekend when it wasn't necessarily part of his original plan (I think he was only originally slated to visit for the Indiana game until recently). I do think it could become a pivotal weekend in his recruitment. Everything *seems* to be trending in Michigan's direction, but we'll see how it plays out.

    Not Steve, but I don't think the basketball game will have any influence whatsoever toward his decision... Nobody on here would be shocked if he quietly rooted for MSU during this game. He is a MSU basketball fan... That is why he committed to MSU in the first place, to have a chance to play for Izzo. But again, Basketball has been taken out of the equation when it comes to his recruitment (even if he roots for one team or the other). I think if this were a football game, then maybe...

  • I think the fact he's visiting so recently after his last visit can be nothing but a good sign. Being w/ Michigan recruits & commits surrounded by Michigan fans in an electric environment can do nothing but help.

It is too bad your brethren do not let UM posters make similar comments on your board. We get down-voted if we are anywhere near your board. confused

    Post recruiting stuff at their Duffy forum. Fwiw, you will still get down voted but you won't be attacked as much.

    I got banned for 200 years on rcmb for saying dantonio shouldn't have cut off coach heck in the middle of his recruiting speech because dantonio could of used some of coach heck's tips on recruiting. It was a little bit of a troll move, but it did not deserve a lifetime ban; especially, when all I was doing was stating facts. I've been banned for 10 months now; I think that's long enough. Tell your mod to remove my ban from rcmb. this is ridiculous. rcmb is pure meltdown entertainment and I need to get back in there.
