I think this reaction is awesome, because it's obvious how candid he is with his post-visit interviews. If he didn't like it, he's honest and straightforward about it (see: his OSU visit). So this isn't the type of reaction where he's excited about every visit.

And it's interesting that he wants to go into SM instead of engineering.

That's a huge advantage for Michigan if he does choose to go into Sports Management, Michigan has one of the top undergrad programs for it in the country.

He got to talk to the Dean of Sports Mgmt as well, the change of majors is a big plus in my book.

Steve ... do we assume a top-3 is probably not till beginning of fall ... correct? This is based on his remaining visit schedule this summer ...

I'm thinking Hand isn't going to find a more tight knit family atmosphere than Coach Hoke has instilled in this program. The 2013 and 2014 recruiting classes especially are going to be a big draw for Hand. It will at least help cancel out the difference in distance between Michigan and VaTech.

YES! I am so happy he enjoyed his visit and I think the part about him wanting to change his major after this visit is def the biggest part of it! Now he knows if he goes to Michigan he can make that choice and Michigan has one of the best engineering and sports management programs in the country. He said he felt like he knew all the guys he hung out with for years which has to make him feel way more comfortable with Michigan which is what he really wanted to see on this visit, how comfortable he could be there.
