Greg Webb taking visits again

#PSU commit Greg Webb visiting #UNC this weekend (now) and will visit #FSU and #southcarolina soon as well. Now very soft verbal to #PSU
Might Hoke and Co. pickup the phone to rekindle Webb's interest? I know they've said they're done with d-line so I guess to answer my own question... Doubt it.
I'm thinking the news and possibility of pending doom in happy valley has Webb looking around.

I think Hurst and Poggi effectively ended our search for another DT, unless we were to get Montravious Adams. I'm sure the coaches hope Hurst can grow into a NT, so Webb isn't exactly a huge need right now.

Truth be told, if anyone's going to be looking around, I'm glad it's Webb. He and Hackenberg are probably the only ones in PSU's top tier of recruits that OSU wouldn't go hard after. I'd rather that PSU keep its class together so they can get some payback on OSU for stealing so much of the 2012 class, but Webb wouldn't be the worst loss.

I would very much like to see Webb get the final spot. There aren't any real positions of need at this time, and Webb is the real deal at the NT spot, it seems.
If the coaches are looking for best available, Greg Webb would be near the top of the list.

The one downside to filling up so early is we don't have room to take advantage of guys who decide to look elsewhere.

His teammate Drennon just committed there too. I know there was some talk of those two being a package deal a long time ago. Still surprised myself, though.

We have commitments from highly rated guys. so you're essentially saying its better to be in the running for Webb instead of having pretty great prospects already locked up?

Maybe, maybe not. Heard of two commits visiting elsewhere so far (Webb being one of them). Most are going to wait for word about sanctions.
No idea what's so great about UNC, but good luck to him. His friends (Dajuan Drennon, Zaire Williams) never got offered and seems like that may have affected things.

There aren't really any WR or LB targets, but they could take Brenneman, since they were looking for two TEs early on in the process, they just whiffed on Heuerman, Brenneman, McNeil, and Henry.

Besides Breneman( who I think stays with Penn ST) and Johnson I don't think ohio would try for any of penn st others commits.
