    Easily.

I absolutely hate Aaron Craft, but he's an amazing defender.

Thanks.. But do you want to explain this for me?

Trey Burke=Overrated Without Hardaway we win this by 10+

Every time Burke goes against Craft he gives up after Craft gets in his face for the 1st half. I wouldve kept Thompson on Hardaway, tha

  • I find myself just hoping everyone stays healthy through the conference play so the BIG can dominate the NCAA tourney....Not too far fetched to see 4 teams in the final 8....

Sure....As I said in another post in that thread I think when Burke is against Craft, he doesn't work hard enough without the ball. The best way to wear Craft down is to run him when you don't have the ball. And I have no problem saying that without Hardaway catching fire tonight I do think we would've won by 10+.... He was on fire for 10 straight minutes....

Agreed that Hardaway kept us in the game, but you calling Burke overrated is flat wrong.

Craft is easily the best on ball defender in the country, and yet Trey Burke still had 16 points and 8 assists, which is pretty close to his season average.

I truly shouldn't have said "Overrated" ... but stand by my thoughts that he doesn't work hard enough (run Craft Ragged) when he doesn't have the ball...Burke is a great scorer with ball in his hands, at the next level he's gonna have to get open without the ball in his hands though.

Well, I didn't want to say "Lazy", and with my limited OSU vocabulary I had to go with a word that wasn't TOO big.....Guess I could have just said "Burke doesn't work hard enough without the ball"...... but that doesn't get the attention of posters...I'm all for the shock value you know.

  • I thought it was funny that he tried to clarify because he thought the people didn't understand him and one guy responded: "I understand I just don't agree at all"

  • The best part of the "craft owned Burke " line of thinking is the trey burke stat line, 16pt 8assist only 2 turnovers. Super shut down

  • Ya know, I can't stand Buckeye fans when they're running their mouths and acting like knuckle-dragging mouth breathers.

Then some Buckeye comes over here with praise and class while congratulating us on our win......and I still can't stand them sons of bitches.

    Oh well.

  • So after watching tonight's great game, who do you think is the best of the BIG? I am of the opinion of Indiana due to their inside/outside balance and a number of guys that can score. I think you guys are similar to us in the fact that we lack a major inside offensive presence, there is some talent there but nobody that can be fed the ball and a score is expected with confidence.

I truly hate how many points we give up in the paint, but I want to see us play Indiana with Jordan Morgan before I claim Indiana's the best in the B1G. I still think on a neutral court with full health we would take them out. Again, it's an impossible judgment to make at this point in the season, and I would have to say Indiana at this current point because of how good they looked against us, but we were missing arguably our best defender (says Beilein) against them so I'm not investing too much too soon.

  • Big win. Great game. I could watch Craft and Burke go at each other all day. I wish Matta would make Craft sign something saying he's not allowed to shoot the ball under any circumstances though.

  • Something that may be getting lost in the midst of the big win last night. This could very well be the last time we get to see Burke vs. Craft with the strong chance that Burke goes pro after this season. Personally, I have enjoyed each of their 5 games against each other and it's a shame that we may not have the pleasure of seeing it again. After playing both games so closely, not sure if I want to face them in the Big Ten Tournament just yet, but I would be excited about getting to see this matchup at least one more time.

  • What rarely gets talked about is Burke's defense on Craft....when Craft stole the ball late in game and Burke beat him down the floor and stopped a layup was huge. Hope we see at least one more matchup between those two, but I agree Burke is probably going to NBA after this season.
