The president of Ohio State University apologized Friday for comparing the problem of coordinating the school's many divisions to the Polish army, an off-the-cuff remark that a Polish-American group called a slanderous display of bigotry and ignorance.
espn.go.comI'm a bit surprised that most UM grads on this board aren't impressed with Dr. Gee's grasp of military history and the keen wit that he exercised in using the factoid. He was just stating the obvious to anyone who has a feeling for important events during the 20th century. What gives? Has political correctness overtaken truth in Ann Arbor?
