Gareon Conley will visit Oregon and Ohio State

It is amazing how Oregon's violations have just been swept underneath the rug. Based on precedent, they have to loose schollies and face a post season ban.

Yeah, didn't they get flat out busted paying a recruit, or multiple recruits from Texas? I think that was two years ago, maybe they can beat the six or seven year plan the NCAA was on with U$C. What a joke.

The worst part about it is that even the media thinks the NCAA is a complete joke yet when they have Emmertt on their channel they ask him only softball questions about the playoff or the BCS, and never let him field questions from callers, again what a joke.

I would love to see Dan Patrick interview Mark Emmertt, or some other crony from the NCAA.

Rumors are now that Conley is set on Oregon (Pending offer of course). Apparently he was telling people around Massillon this before and after his game this past week.

What I don't get is how he said that he wasn't 100% sure about UM, because it's the only place he's seen, but now he's all head over heels about a place that he.... hasn't seen.

The fact that we've had 2 of his teammates (Devers and Lash) up for visits, and he hasn't been back really puts the writing on the wall for me. Hopefully his dad and coach win out, and he sticks, but it's looking worse and worse by the week.

I can understand him re-thinking Michigan if he felt he made the decision too soon and wants to see other places, but agree that Oregon being the likely destination seems weird. He could be an elite CB with a great defensive staff, but wants to go play WR on a team that primarily runs the ball in a read option system? Outside of De'Anthony Thomas, Oregon's leading receiver has 19 catches for 220 yards through 8 games. In an offense that scores like 50 points by halftime, that's not exactly huge numbers. I understand the attraction to Oregon, just doesn't seem like if his interest is the NFL going there to be a WR would be the most ideal path, right?
