Steve would you mind giving the Duck Territory Board an update on the developements? Sorry in advance Michigan fans, if Conely ends up at Oregon. He seems like a very talented kid, and while we would love to have him, I know how disapointing it is to lose a kid of his caliber. I have a nephew who lives in Ann Arbor. Every Christmas I send him some Duck gear and I get some Maize and Blue in return. Look forward to a Rose Bowl match up in the near future. Beat those Suckwad Buckeyes!

@ Duckwad I wonder if your coaching staff has informed him they are facing NCAA sanctions for paying recruits out of Texas a couple years ago? Phil Knight must be really trying to keep the mute button down on that one.

To be honest, if he notifies the coaches and does this the proper way I can see us still recruiting him. And if Oregon and OSU aren't what he expects then he can come back. I don't think his scholarship will be pulled if he doesn't go behind the coaches backs, he will just be seen as uncommitted and a scholarship spot will open up.

Kudos to Hoke and staff for offering Conley way before anybody else. Waaaaaay back in the Spring. Hopefully Conley takes that into consideration before he makes his final choice.

Bucknuts think Conley is a lock for them because he talked on the phone with Urbs and all of a sudden wants to take visits...I dont think they realized he was planning on taking visits and seeing Oregon long before Urbs called him.

And for those who disagree with Hokes recruiting philosophy and no visit policy....its about integrity. To put it simply, you give someone your word, and you keep your word.

Not to be a downer, but, the chatter amongst some high school coaches in Ohio is that Conley could very well end up in Columbus.
