Saw this one. A few thoughts ...
1. Coaches must have known this was coming as the JR offer last weekend demonstrates. The coaches decided to go after a high-quality recruit, with the best chance at landing - aka JR. I believe JR stays at MSU, but UM will give him a pause as he coveted the offer from the start.
2. For Conley to do an OV against your arch-rival, on the day of the game, is an insult and glaring alarm of 'I'm gone.'
3. Another reason for early-signing period in football.

In regards to #1, the Reschke offer likely has nothing to do with the Conley situation. Sam Webb said that he knows the reason why Reschke was offered but was not at liberty to share at this time. When he says something like that, it's usually because the reason is team-related (a career ending injury, possible transfer, etc) and not recruiting related.
