    There, I said it.

I don't know- Denard typically looked Heisman esk. against the likes of Iowa, NW and Minnesota's of the world..

It is funny. Denard plays good against shit teams and he is crowned as god. Devin does it and people shrug it off lol

Moon wants to have Denard's child, no point in arguing with him.

Just as you want to have Gardner's baby.

You both are on the extreme side when it comes to this.

To moon, Denard can do no wrong and to you Denard is basically worthless and never have been any good.

Denard never beat Iowa as the starting qb at Michigan.

Denard lost to Iowa 3 times.

Denard is a great runner and I've said that. Bad passer though.

So true. I cannot for the life of me understand why so many want to bash Denard just because they like Gardner. So disrespectful to one of the best players to ever wear the Maize and Blue.

From a QB standpoint, the best option is Devin Gardner. Denard has been a great player, but he was never a good passer and now that he is in an offensive system that doesn't fit him at all, it makes no sense to have Denard at QB over Devin.

Exactly, why toss one under the bus when you can have both?

Denard has been the heart and soul of our team, whether its on or off the field, and its disgusting to watch so many people just trash him cause they like someone else.

Sure it does. For at least some plays. It gives us a running game with Denard taking snaps at the QB spot.

If Devin keeps developing I think he can really be in the Heisman talk next year. I have been saying Garder as QB and Denard as WR for the last year

You sure about that? You seemed to like Bellomy 40 days ago. Shall I bump?

Meh, it's a fickle bunch. A month ago, 90% of this board thought Bellomy was the future, while Gardner had "first round receiver potential" despite the glaring problem of not knowing how to position his body for a reception and not the greatest hands.

I do, however, think Gardner under center and Denard in the slot or backfield gives us the best chance to win Saturday. I'd love to see Denard have a Biakabutuka type day out of the backfield.

That's because you refuse to believe a QB can be more successful than Denard can and it's extremely annoying. You refuse to give credit to Devin for killing it these last 3 games because it was against sub par competition. After which you demean Devin's stats, you turn around and praise Denard's inflated stats against the same competition.

Yeah, Devin hasn't faced good defenses, but Denard has and proved he is not very successful because he can't make the throws needed to be successful.

See now why the shot at Denard? Denard was the reason we went to a bowl game in RR's last season. He was the offense and we had no defense what so ever.

Denard was a big part of an 11 win team. If you watched the MSU game there is no way you can put that game on Denard. That MSU game last year was on the whole offense including Denard but not on Denard only. You can't put the Bama game on Denard. You can't put this year's Nebraska game on Denard. The only game you can put on Denard that we lost is the Notre Dame game this year. That's 1 game in 3 years. Get over it. Denard has been very successful here at Michigan.

If Devin plays in the Notre Dame and Nebraska games at the level he is playing at right now, do you think we lose those games? How about last year against MSU and Iowa?

Yes, Devin came into the game last year against MSU and struggled, but how many QBs come into their first true game, after sitting on the bench for 3 quarters, and not taking any snaps with the first team, and succeed?

Fact of the matter is, Michigan runs a pro style offense. Guess who fits that offense better? Devin Gardner.

Denard is great in the spread offense, but Michigan doesn't run the spread offense anymore. Time to let go of the RR years, where Denard was extremely successful, and move on to the present where Devin Gardner has been extremely successful in the time he has started.

First off I think we very likely could of won the Nebraska game this year had Denard not gone down so that is a moot point. I already said you can put the ND game on Denard. Would we have won that game with Gardner? Who knows. We haven't seen Devin play against a defense as good as NDs. I absolutely believe we still lose the MSU game last year. Our playcalling was horrible, our OL was horrible. We got manhandled up front. Not much a QB is going to do when that happens. I would have to rewatch the Iowa game. I know we weren't great defensively in that game so who knows.

We only started running a pro style offense when Denard went down. We were still running more of a spread with Denard. Not seeing your point here.
