Surprised that Henry weighed in at 302 pounds, very happy about it! A.J. Williams at 282! looks like a future OT to me, hopefully he can maintain his athleticism and be a massive TE.

AJ Williams is going to play early and often at TE. Maybe he moves to OT next year if Lewan goes pro, but our coaches are going to love a 6-6, 282lb TE blocking this season.

  • I agree with you Dizzo, gonna need him in the Bama game that's for sure.

Where are you guys getting this info? Is it on mgoblue.com?

Edit: nvm i saw you posted where you got your info, sorry.

Williams will be the blocking TE and one of Ricardo Miller/Devin Funchess will be the receiving TE.

  • Damn, can you imagine the battering ram of a rushing attack we'll have with 5 OLs from the 2012-13 classes, AJ Williams at TE, Sione Houma at FB, and Wyatt Shallman running the ball? Talk about a perfect goal-line set right there. We're gonna run it down your throats and there's nothing you can do to stop it!

Miller moved backed to WR after spring ball.

Miller moved back to WR (Edit: MGoBlue.com doesn't show that, but I swear I read that he had switched), and I think Funchess will see more time in the slot than he will at TE this year just because of his size.

I think it will be Moore/Williams at TE with maybe some of Kwiatkowski (walkon). The coaches won't want to give away running vs. passing plays by putting in Williams just to block and somebody like Funchess on passing plays.

It's going to be amazing. But he will def see 300 at some point!

I love how these are legit weight/heights.

All that t-rich talk of not redshirting may have been for nothing....dudes tiny, as we all knew, but I think some of us hoped he added a few pounds since last fall.

  • I really don't want to sound pessimistic, but black scares the bell out me at tackle.

Agree on T-Rich, but I was hoping he would redshirt. We burned Taylor and Hollowell last year on special teams and some spot duty at corner, so with 5 guys (Floyd/Countess/Avery/Taylor/Hollowell) with experience, it seems like a waste to play T-Rich a few times. Tamani Carter also could be a CB because he currently is listed as a "DB", but at 5-11 he's a little small for safety.

TRich will be redshirting. At 150 lbs he will be getting ran over by the Big Ten backs.

Why? RVB was only at 288 last year for DT, Black will probably be around 280ish by the time the ball is snapped in Dallas. Black has very good athleticism and will BWC taking up double teams, he should be able to rush the passer or at least press the pocket on every down.

Yup. Imagine Richardson trying to tackle 240 pound leveon bell. It's not going to happen.

Clark has filled out a little bit, that is nice to see.

Bars has also gained some weight, but could really use a RS.

Ben Braden could be a freshman contributor if needed, will probably be in the two deep before long.

Sione Houma needs to add about 15-20 pounds before he is ready to play, good thing he isn't counted on to contribute yet.

RJS needs a RS, another 20 pounds is essential.

X2 or any other Big Ten back for that matter. Roundtree would bull him over at that size.

Only if his shoulder is 100% healed.

I wonder if he has some "bad" weight on him because of his recovery process.

And he lost about 20 or so lbs since he last dominated at the All-American game.

Ringer must have killed it in the weight room this spring.
