  • I love this. I'd love to see these two companies continue to compete with each other for years, where they are forced to provide great content all the time just to survive. I also won't mind seeing an increase in the amount of NFL, college basketball, and college football I can watch on cable due to this competition.

  • My fear is it will become yet another pay site, not saying pay sites are bad, but you'd think sites like ESPN would not be the case, Fox is already there w/ Scout so this could be yet another chance to money grab when they already get your viewership, advertising, etc. Also not sure I am digging and ND B1G lashup without them being forced to join - then I could see where this would allow Fox and worse ND to call shots. I did see that ND would be included in this right? Or is it simply PAC and B1G lashup - like I said why give ND more coverage. Sour grapes I guess.

  • When Fox Sports had their sportscenter type news show, The Rundown I think it was called? Could be wrong, It was better than sportscenter, it kept it strictly about sports. Highlights were shown for all teams pretty fairly. Didn't create drama that isn't there. Stuck to being informative. They wouldn't show a Yankees-Indians game and show only highlights of Yankees plays and then at the end say "But the Yankees lost the game", that makes me so angry about ESPN.

    Just get NCAA, NBA, MLB, NHL, NFL to agree to some solid deals like they promise and it would be super easy to make a program better than the giant LeBron, SEC, NFL, Northeast teams circlejerk. And don't get anchors and contributors who think they are bigger than the stories (Bayless, Mark May, Stephen A Smith etc.). I had faith in NBCSportsNetwork and then they didn't get any good deals with the big 4 orgs and ended up showing Bullriding, fishing, and similar stuff way too often. Disney/ESPN has the monopoly, and I think it's time that changes.
