My mother is a UM fan and my father is a OSU fan. This is no joke....when I was first able to crawl around on my own... my parents placed a Michigan Teddy bear and a Buckeye Teddy bear on the floor about 20 feet in front of me. From what they tell me....I crawled immediately toward the Maize and Blue Teddy and never gave the scarlet abomination another look. All my sheets, pillow cases, curtains, crib, all became UM decor. My father was so crushed over this that to this day he does not allow me to come over and watch any Michigan games in the house unless its "The Game".

Very quick story: My first game that my dad took me to. 1979: Michigan vs Indiana. Sitting somewhere in the first 10 rows of the endzone, and seeing AC highstepping coming right at me with the clock reading 0:00. I was 9 years old and can still to this day picture seeing Carter's eyes looking right at me while scoring. Needless to say...I didn't go to Michigan, didn't have the grades...but from that day on, I was a Maize n' Blue fan for life!
