It wouldn't surprise me. He's an Ohio kid, with a brother that goes there, and there's a ton of hype surrounding Meyer. I would guess they're the heavy favorite at this point.

I think Ohio State will be a finalist, but he's not a lock. He's in contact with several schools.

I think it will be very tough to get him away from Ohio. Rod looks like he may stick (and Urban is the type to make sure he sticks for another year just to get the little bro on campus). I think we have a shot, but only a slim one.

I attended one of Jaylon's basketball games over christmas break. He is very well built for only being a junior in high school, his brother Rod was very similar when I played football against him. I believe their father is a weight lifting enthusiast which could be a reason Jaylon is so big. Although Jaylon lacks basketball skills you can still tell he has some freak athleticism that allows him to be so good at football.

He won MVP at OSUs nike camp in the summer, over alot of older, high profile players, one being James Ross. I know mom wants him close to home (ND), or with big bro at OSU.

This situation seems somewhat similar to what happened with the Armsteads. The big brother is at a school and that school lands (in this case leads for) his elite younger brother. The program and the big brother start to have a falling out and the younger brother starts to look at rivals of the original school instead...

He's not from Ohio and his brothers experience at Ohio St hasnt gone as well as everyone hoped. There wouldn't be a meltdown if he went elsewhere. Ohio St can stay in state and have a top 10 class.
