I like Borges recruiting him. He was at Auburn and can impress that the Michigan tradition is as good if not better than all SEC schools

I think we need to be recruiting him only at RB, seems like that he is he is dead set on playing.

And HOLY S, I just saw his picture kid is a man-child already.

Recruit him at whatever position he wants.

That said, if he comes here, it would be the biggest recruiting surprise during my lifetime.

If the coaches land this kid, they deserve statues outside of the stadium.

I do like how Borges is recruiting him, like you said he has ties to Alabama, which should make it easy to talk to him. I really think that the UM/Bama game could go a long way with his recruitment if Michigan makes it a game.

My thoughts exactly here. If he sticks to his plan of announcing late in the process, Michigan will have an opportunity to blow him away with this upcoming visit, and then just keep chipping away for the next year-plus. Is it an uphill battle? Of course, but it would be well worth the effort if he somehow becomes a Wolverine.

Great point here Clint. That Alabama game will be huge for recruiting. Michigan has done an outstanding job of capitalizing on the momentum of last season's success. If Michigan can duplicate that success in 2012, or even build on it, there's no telling how much that would help with recruiting. Just need to make sure not to take a step back.

Nebraska doesn't concern me at all. Load the box, stop the run game, and they can't do anything.

Martinez does know how to throw a perfect pass though.
