Fitz and Frank Clark suspended

  • I gained a lot of respect for Hoke after this one! It was relieving to see a coach put responsibility before football. It hurts me to say it but he has it going on for you guys right now.

Truth be told, the dropoff isn't that great because Toussiant isnt really that good. The defense keying on Denard makes half his yards possible. Denard is that big of a threat. Not that Fitz is bad, but he is just not a gamebreaker.

He did the same for Shaw. Whoever is in the backfield with Robinson will be good enough, even if just for the diversion that someone other than the QB has the ball.

    Shaw? Really?

Once again, my faith in Hoke is restored.

He made the right call, and once again demonstrated the difference between us and the SEC.

Hell, he demonstrated the difference between us and OSU. You can be damn sure that if Fitz had gotten a DUI before our bowl game, he wouldn't have played...unlike Pryor, Posey and that whole crew.

Which law did those guys break? Oh yeah, they didn't break any. Good try though.

It's an easy call- you break a law that could have resulted in serious injury or death and you sit a game. Why is everyone acting like this was some courageous decision to sit these guys?

Nope not laws just NCAA rules but apparently those don't matter to Ohio.

lol Yeah cause all Universities have shown they will suspend players especially for big games.

The vest knew he was playing ineligible players, and even played them after the fact that it became public......so when you didn't regulate the cheating in house, the NCAA did a marginal job because your school didn't

  • Toussaint and Clark probably would've made a marginal difference but not enough to beat Bama.

It was something that tress couldn't do even when he knew about what his players were doing.

It is real stupid to act like it wasn't something serious what tress did. He chose winning over morals and what the university is all about.

Heck, I remember a certain Florida coach, who after finding out that one of their star players tried gouging an opposing player's eyes out, only suspended him a single half against Vandy of all schools. Imagine if they would have played an even better school.
