Surprised because I thought he would play. The hints pointed towards both sides because Hoke gave away absolutely nothing to the media hence why no one knew what the decision would be except for you apparently who was picking up on all the "hints." Personally I was leaning towards thinking he was going to play.
Disappointed because I want to see the best players on the field for this game. Honestly you can save all that, "we're above it holier than thou" crap. It's college football, I really dont think anyone isn't dirty somewhere along the line, just depends on whether or not they're caught. I really don't care if that doesn't make me a good Michigan fan by your standards I just wanted to see the best running back on my favorite team play.
Having said that, it was the right decision.

Once again, my faith in Hoke is restored.
He made the right call, and once again demonstrated the difference between us and the SEC.
Hell, he demonstrated the difference between us and OSU. You can be damn sure that if Fitz had gotten a DUI before our bowl game, he wouldn't have played...unlike Pryor, Posey and that whole crew.

im not hating on you making this statement about my team but im curious how many games are they suspended for? is it just the alabama game? ive heard talk recently that it could be 2 games but that was all speculation. as for the osu slam i always found it humorous that the NCAA ruled those players eligible for the bowl game despite their violations. they recognized violations were made and then said go ahead and play this game but not next season lol and then we have to forfeit the win. but its whatever its passed. im glad for the sake of the BIG that michigan made the correct move here

I'm honestly not sure how long they're suspended for. All that Hoke has announced so far is that neither are playing against Alabama.
And yes, I think the NCAA allowing the players to be eligible was a huge joke as well. I lay their ability to play in that bowl game 50-50 at the feet of OSU and the NCAA. The NCAA should have ruled them ineligible, and OSU should have suspended them regardless, but neither did what they were supposed to do.

Depends on what comes out of his charges. He might be a week by week decision.
