Really hope we are able to take 2 QBs in 2014. Cornwell looks and sounds like a great one though!

I really think that would be smart for Michigan to take two QB's. I'm a big advocate of schools taking two QB's because it creates more competition and depth. I think it's crucial for Michigan to take two in 2014 because they didn't take a QB in 2012.

Agreed. I'm obviously hoping for two absolute studs, but I'd love to take a polished guy like Cornwell and either a local guy like Tyler Wiegers or somewhat of a project like Deshone Kizer.

Yea I don't understand the lack of "hype" on Kizer - he is still one of my favorites. Watching his tape I saw a guy that I thought UM and OSU would be in a dogfight over, but that's why I don't do this for a living. Still hope we stay in the picture for him - especially as a 2nd QB, because I think he's got the chance to be a difference maker.

Urban seems to have something against Ohio QBs, and it's really going to come back to bite him.

I have seen Kizer several times. Yeah, he is raw...reminds me a bit of how Gardner looked as a junior. Gardner was more refined by the time he was a senior though, so we shall see. If we are going to take two guys, I would LOVE to get this kid. When I see him play, he is usually among the best athletes on the field.

Been on the Cornwell bandwagon since someone showed his HL reel on the 2014 thread... he's everything you want in a QB, and him and Shane going at it for the starting job would make both of them twice as good.
Cornwell seems to have legitimate interest in Michigan, and I think he'll end up a Wolverine.

I hope so. He's been favorite since said highlight tape was released as well. I think we'd have to fight off some of the typical national powers, though (Bama, USC, etc).

Can you imagine if Shane sits behind Gardner and then Cornwell beats him out in 2015? Lots of people would be so pissed
