This is the lamest argument buckeye fans have. Every elite school recruits outside their state, who would bama had been without Ingram, or Ohio without Pryor or Eddie George (both PA products)? UM will pull great guys like Ferns from regional and national areas just like ohio, but the lame, "he's from ohio" notion makes no sense.

I don't understand why bucknutters keep saying this. dude, do you know your making yourself seem stupid. yes michigan is nothing without ohio. that's good to hear, now we will continue to go in your backyard and take your best players. your comment is making your team look bad, not michigan. you are basically saying that UM is smacking you for top recruits in your own state and I hope we continue to take ohio players and be good.

BuckeyeMark said this over there:
"What would be surprising is Michigan recruiting players born and bred in Michigan!!!!!
Talk shit about Ohio and Ohioans all you want, BUT Michigan football would be crap if it had to rely on Michigan players instead of Ohio players.
Rumor has it that Fern was intimidated by Columbus and was looking at smaller cites like Ann Arbor, South Bend, and Happy Valley.
With Luke Fickell, Mike Vrabel, and Urban Meyer I am confident that OSU will get a slew of good LB commits."
So many things wrong, where to begin?
1. The only OSU QB to win a BCS title was born and bred in Michigan. 2. Intimidated? Please. Preferring small towns is hardly intimidation. 3. Oh, those 3 coaches will get good LB commits? Funny, because those 3 have whiffed on EVERY SINGLE ONE of the 2013 kids they've offered so far. Corch Urbs doin' work!
