Huge get for the Wolverines. I think Ferns can have a heck of a career on either side of the ball. One advantage of landing almost the entire 2013 class so early in the process is that Michigan has been able to focus more time and attention on the 2014 prospects. Hopefully it continues to pay off.

Since June 10, 2011, Hoke has landed eight Ohio kids with Ohio State offers (Strobel, Kalis, Wormley, Thomas, McCray, Smith, Gedeon, Ferns). In the TEN (!!!) classes from 2002-2011, Michigan landed SEVEN Ohio kids with OSU offers (Crable, Burgess, Mike Massey, Manningham, Boren, Koger, Turner). That's....mind-boggling.

I don't understand why bucknutters keep saying this. dude, do you know your making yourself seem stupid. yes michigan is nothing without ohio. that's good to hear, now we will continue to go in your backyard and take your best players. your comment is making your team look bad, not michigan. you are basically saying that UM is smacking you for top recruits in your own state and I hope we continue to take ohio players and be good. yes it does. that's why we come to ohio and take your players like kalis, strobel, wormley, dymonte, gedeon and mccray. while ohio offers michigan players dawson, shallman, richardson and ross and gets none of them. michigan high school sucks, but the greatest football coach of all time urban frank meyer is still giving michigan kids offers. and I like how you never responded to my comment that was for you on your stupid booker/mcmillian post. you must feel really stupid right now.
