Hope it's a yay but if it doesn't go our way there are still a lot of really good OL out there who seem very interested.

My personal wish list out of those three would be: Isaac, then Pocic, then Treadwell.

I know we need some gamebreaking receivers but I feel that our O-system is based more on Isaac's abilities, with the receivers benefiting from the ground game.

Thoughts?

I say nay. My own complete speculation is the 2 commitments from Illinois lineman will make him look elsewhere.

Pocic ,, i think he will take the last OL spot. sam said the coachs told the guys there taking 5 ols. sam made it sound like hes the guy and it could come soon. this was on his show this morning

Just asking, but..,,,At what point is too many too many? Meaning, is there a point where you risk losing guys to transfer because there's simply not enough playing time for everyone?

If you got 4 OL in every class, you'd have incredible depth, correct? It would also mean 20% of your 85 scholarships would be OL (16 OL over a 4 year cycle). 5 OL is 20% of your 23 starters (11 O, 11 D, and 1 kicker) so in theory, 4 OL per class seems to be the optimal number. And that doesn't even account for 5th year guys, pushing the percentage higher.

Anyone agree with that?

I think you'll see us go to 4 OL per year next year but the RR years really depleted our depth. Hoke & Co. are doing a good job of correcting that problem. We lose a lot next year especially if Lewan goes pro.

If its Pocic yes, but we need skill players & defense.
