    I see your point but i rebuttal with the D-Line and LB Urban is bringing in and that basically trump your O-Line ( a great defense almost always beats a great offense) OL are the hardest to scout and see there next level potential. This isn't the Bo and Woody days of 3 yards and a cloud of dust cause if you expect to be 1 demential and run the ball all game every game you wont win very many games! You have to have playmakers at the skill positions and that includes kick and punt returners and TE plus WR. I really don't want to start a war of words with anyone over here and supporters from both schools have valid points to each argument so like i said in my other post i want you guys to land top tier playmakers cause it make this rivalry fun..

    Nick S. might disagree with you regarding the oline vs dline. When you are averaging 7 yards a carry, the WR's find a way to get open.

    I should've gone into a career writing OSU recruiting pieces, it'd be so easy. Just overrate every single OSU commit, and the entire fanbase will love me.

    Well i guess i will be the first...If we played Bama it wouldn't be pretty for us. We have nowhere near their top end talent or depth! Now give Urban another 2 to 3 years and we will compete with anyone anywhere and thats not being a homer that is a FACT! Hoke is doing well in recruiting but at the skill position he is failing miserably and again thats not being a homer thats a fact! Urban is and will continue to bring in good/great skill position players yet we lack UM OL recruiting and once we start getting lineman its going to be scary! You guys desperately need Green and TBH i hope you guys land him because i want our rivalry to still be the greatest sports rivalry and to be that UM needs great skill position players and Green would be a step in the right direction.

    I agree. Just doing my job and posting it here because its part of 247Sports and mentions Michigan. I do not agree with OSU being No. 2 though. I'd personally put them around the 10 range and Michigan about 12-15.

    Each fanbase thinks their recruits are better, and their OL and DL will dominate the others, so no shocker....All I care about is the game...Our OL and DL did pretty well this year. Almost all of our offense is back next year, the question will be an all new DL starting 4...They all played quite a bit last year, but replacing Big Hank, Simon, Williams will be an unknown until the ball is snapped.

    I think the writers that talk about you guys losing so much might be referring to DRob being gone as he was a huge % of your offense. Even though I believe he might should've been at another position for his career with a more reliable passser at QB. I know it sounds dumb but take away a lot of his INT's and you guys win a few more games each year.

  • The only preseason rankng that's worth anything is Phil Steele, other than that everyone is taken with a grain of salt.

    MSU's big concern is Offensive, can they get a passing game developed and who's going to fill in at RB.

    Michigan's big worry is the missing Defensive starters and can Gardner step up over an entire season.

    Ohio State's big worry is replacing the D-line starters it lost and finding B10 quality linebackers.
