Watchin this espn 150 special... Shane morris is nice wit it... That snapback was fresh too

As far as I can see, this was an unsolicited mention of Shane by Sua on Twitter last night. He later tweeted:

My my player is 99 overall now :) I do it!!!

I have no idea what that means.

As an aside, does anyone have suggestions on tags I can use to more clearly indicate which are quoted tweets in my post and which aren't?

I'm sure buttesnake can help you with the tags, I think the second tweet is talking about his my player in Madden or NCAA.

Just noticed Michmania posted the same tweet in the 2013 thread. Sorry!

You can bold or italicize some parts, that's about it.

MGoBlog has a post about the most accurate ranking system - ESPN has surprisingly enough proved to be the most accurate. Just sayin'

You sure you read that right?

Nah, I didn't read it. That's just what someone told me. Maybe I should actually read it.

Just read it lol my bad. That's what I would have expected. Rivals is the best and ESPN sucks.

yup haha. A friend passed it along to me earlier. Can't say I was surprised to see Rivals as the top dog. It's always seemed that way. I'm interested to see where 247 ranks in the upcoming years. Seems like they're doing a pretty good job and they have many of the old rivals guys over here.

How? I'd play around, but I don't want to have a lot of test posts. It'd be nice if this message board gave the ability to preview a post.

{b}text{/b} with brackets instead of {} will bold text.
    {i}text{/i} is italic.

There are test boards, here's one:

    http://southcarolina.247sports.com/Board/South-Carolina-Gamecocks-Message-Board-Forum-52

You can also edit a comment as many times as you want; no need to make multiple test posts if you so choose.

    (b) text you want bolded (/b)
    (i) text you want italicized (/i)

switch the ( ) for [ ] to make it work

Just watched it. I thought Michigan received solid love, it came late, but it was good.

Morris, holy crap, he is leader. That kid has worked his whole life for this chance and will continue to work to accomplish his goals at Michigan. So glad to have him in the fold.

Agreed, I know that their rankings aren't always the best but having the #1 class on ESPN would be huge from a PR standpoint.

For sure, it is great seeing the block M sitting there at #1 for all to see.

I had hoped to hear why they had Conley so high. I see it with how some the Ohio analyst said he was the best cover corner in the state before he committed to Michigan, just wanted a break down from those guys.

Taco Charlton reminds them of Gholston physically? Sounds good to to me. thumbsup

Conley is the commit with the biggest disparity in his rankings. He's one of our lowest rated commits here and a 3*, a low 3* on Rivals (and ranked as an ATH instead of a CB), a 4* on Scout (22nd ranked CB overall), and then the #63 overall player in the country on ESPN (6th overall CB).

On 247 he's the 27th overall player in Ohio, on ESPN he's the 3rd (only 2 rating points behind Cam Burrows and 1 behind Jalin Marshall). It's tough to argue between being 5-10 or even 11-20, but 3 to 27 is like the two services are looking at completely different tape.

I honestly think Scout, 247, and Rivals knocked him for not having any combine and camp films. Everything I've heard about this kid revolves around his upside. And ESPN, more than anybody, factors that into their evaluation of prospects. I honestly think he's gonna be the best corner we have up until this point (and thats saying a hell of a lot.) Even better than Richardson (5'9) and Jourdan Lewis (5'11).
Conley, by the way is (6'1). Better suited for the bigger receivers.
    GO BLUE!!!

Agreed, it hurt Conley that he missed most of his junior season. Expect him to skyrocket in the rankings after his senior year.
