I love this tweet as well:

"Bree Dunn just walked in my house with all of his OSU stuff on. He's about to get beat up."

Yeah, he's totally going to OSU...

  • Also, Dymonte would join LTT, David Dawson, Taco, and maybe Jake Butt as EEs for the class. Pretty sure Ben Gedeon said he was considering it as well.

  • Nah the latest rally cry is that Michigan got in on him early and Urban is playing catch up. Only reason we still have him

  • Actually we want Dymonte but we would rather have Vonn Bell who is a superior safety prospect. We are probably leading for Bell as of right now. We would love to have Thomas, but you guys have done a good job in keeping him. This isn't over yet though and no Buckeye fans are saying that we passed on him so stop making stuff up.

LOLOLOLOL rather have Bell????? I guess buckeye fans are starting to realize they won't get Thomas, so now the excuses train is coming in. And yes it is over, it is as likely as Burrows switching to Michigan. NOT GONNA HAPPEN!!! At least we are realistic about this stuff and recognize not every kid is going to come to our school.bashful

So your saying you would rather have someone that yall are "probably leading " for? yeah that sounds real convincing!

Every time I see something funny he says on twitter, or hear about joking around with fellow recruits, I can barely picture it because that profile picture is just how I think of Dymonte. I hope that's his game face though, as a QB I'd be terrified to see that creeping closer and closer to the line.

That seems like a real stretch right there. Bell is a Georgia prospect with offers from Georgia, Alabama, and Auburn, and he hasn't had a chance to make a full visit to any of those schools yet. Plus he's had Shaq Wiggins in his ear about Georgia for a while.

The only people who think Bell is going to OSU are buckeye fans. And yes its been over for Dymonte for a long long time.

be real now, vonn bell is the better prospect. have you read any articles that the staff have written?
that said the bucknut didnt say anything wrong. he simply stated we would love to have thomas in the class because he is a great prospect, but as a bucknut i can agree with what he said that next to nobody believed this kid would or will switch.
on the second point he was just saying if given the choice of which safety prospect we would rather have most all of us would choose bell. both are elite defensively and both offer the availability of being used on offense as well.
that said based on staff articles and rankings most people, (not just bucknuts) believe that bell is the superior prospect

  • Once Bell declares and stays way south bucknuts will say he wasn't good enough to play for the great Urban.

Thomas is several marks better on Rivals (which has been the most accurate over the years). Bell is #3 ranked safety prospect in the nation on Scout; Thomas, #5. Both 5*s on Scout. That is pretty much a wash - but for the sake of argument, let's say Bell is marginally better. 247Sports hasn't been out long enough to determine how accurate they are in grading prospects.

So erm do tell how you concluded that Bell is the "superior" prospect? According to the most accurate recruiting services over the years, your BEST argument is that they're equal.

No, am not paying much attention to a service that had Ohio's Michigan commits almost all ranked lower simply because they passed on Ohio State (last year I believe).

Vonn Bell is a free safety, and Thomas is likely to be a strong safety so comparisons come with a grain of salt. That said, Bell is 6'1", runs a legit 4.4 forty, and has the ball skills of an elite receiver. Bell is a big-time elite safety with offers from Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Auburn, Ohio State, Texas, and Notre Dame.

He'll probably end up the higher rated of the two, but I would also guess he doesn't end up outside of the SEC.

You have a sig bet regarding where Thomas ends up with Devidee?

That is awesome if so. First thing that comes to mind is the Napolean Dynamite Gif where his brother says yes.
