Your errors are numerous.
FIrst, since the MSU game (where he basically did not play), Toussaint had 20, 16, 27, 29, and 20 rushes. Before that game he was hurt. Hoke has said he wants only 1 primary runner. Even with the injuries he averaged 14.5 carries a game. The Western game also ended in the 3rd qtr, the MN game ended by the 1st qtr. I think we can safely assume he would have averaged over 20 if not hurt.
RichRod's problem was not that he recruited the Midwest too much...that is laughable. If anything, he recruited Florida too much for slot receivers.
Tressel's teams, after a decade, NEVER looked like the SEC, and never recruited out of the midwest hugely. Absolutely, he got some premier kids from all over, to his credit. But his vast focus was locking down Ohio, as bucknut fans keep reminding us. As for getting Ohio players...other than the past 4 years, we have ALWAYS gotten a fair number of Ohio players. In fact, the lockdown of the last couple years is the exception over the past half century, not the rule.
Urban runs the spread. Has always run the spread. For that, he will have to shift focus away from Ohio. Now, you can either lock down Ohio, or recruit nationally...very difficult to do both, with as many premier players in Ohio. Tressel focused on Ohio...I doubt Urban does as much.

This post is hilarious.
Greg Mattison was the DC for the 2006 BCS MNC UF team and helped build the 2008 BCS MNC UF team before leaving for the NFL. Mattison, along with Borges, knows what a SEC team looks like on both offense and defense.
Mattison has every intention of building a SEC-like defense. What remains to be seen is if he wants to build a Alabama-like defense or a LSU-like defense.
And as I understand it, Borges is interested in implementing a Stanford-like offense...essentially a GCO with 2 TE sets mixed in.

With a experienced coach maybe one lose this year with a mediocre team in a mediocre Big Ten. Fickell is a good guy but was not ready for prime time. Osu's whole LB core was hurt the Michigan game and in a normal year would have blowout. You can be delusional about the potential of Braxton Miller and Urban Myers but in you heart you know they will make magic if he can get a few more play makers and speed at DE and LB.

Just about the lamest argument I have heard from Michigan fans. That worked well for us when we hired Cooper didn't it? Because he beat you when he was ASU in the Rose Bowl, shouldn't be a problem when he comes to OSU. We all know how that turned out. Success against someone ONE time doesn't automatically mean consistent success. You also look past the depleted defense they had that year and were still able to hang like what 35 points on you?

Your 'Michigan Man' [the Hoax, from Ohio] who relies so heavily on players from the dreaded 'Ohio', has enjoyed a one-year recruiting aberration in the state. That year is nearly over. The fence goes back up. He will never again get a class ranked in the top 10 by signing Ohio recruits. TOSU, of course, will.
You are toast and you know it -- whether you get Dunn or not. That's why you huff and puff so hard on Buckeye sites. You're checking out Urban Meyer's recruiting every 10 minutes because he doesn't scare you, right? Keep whistling, Weasels, as Urban walks you past the graveryard.

Never get a class ranked in the top ten with players from Ohio because of that 'fence' you say? Well hell .. then I'm even HAPPIER about Dymonte Thomas .. cause his vertical must be a hell of a lot higher than the one listed on his 24/7 profile. He's managed to jump right over that 'fence-o-meyer'
