I should say 15-20 carries since it is the trend for most teams to use two or three running backs and in Myers system. Richardson from Alabama and Ball from Wisconsin averaged 21 carries per game and Fitzgerald Toussaint 14. Also how many games did a Michigan back get at least 20 carries? Furthermore, when you think about the kind of kids that are interested in OSU since Urban became coach and future recruiting bonanza's a NC title is a strong possibility. The mistake that Hoke and Rich Rod made is that you can not beat the SEC and compete nationally with just Midwest kids from Michigan and Ohio, Tressel like Urban Myer said was evolving his team to look like a SEC team with speedy athletes that came from all over the country. That team that beat Arkanas was fast! Michigan is OSU north because of recruits from Ohio but how many of those kids have a chance of playing pro? Michigan has to get quality recruits from OSU every year not just quantity like Bo did. Yes, they got Kalis, Wormley and may even get Dunn but this will be the exception not the rule. Wormley to me is the most valuable of the three. In 2013 I see the top recruits in Ohio staying with OSU and the future.

With a experienced coach maybe one lose this year with a mediocre team in a mediocre Big Ten. Fickell is a good guy but was not ready for prime time. Osu's whole LB core was hurt the Michigan game and in a normal year would have blowout. You can be delusional about the potential of Braxton Miller and Urban Myers but in you heart you know they will make magic if he can get a few more play makers and speed at DE and LB.

Urban runs the spread. Has always run the spread. For that, he will have to shift focus away from Ohio. Now, you can either lock down Ohio, or recruit nationally...very difficult to do both, with as many premier players in Ohio. Tressel focused on Ohio...I doubt Urban does as much.

Losing Dymonte will not hurt the OSU class of 2013. Great DB's will be coming from all over the country. I think this kid should refrain from some of things he he is saying about OSU. Okay to be pro team but players should stay classy.
