Honestly .. call me crazy/stupid or whatever .. but I just dont see him ending up a Buckeye. I'm assuming he decided to ditch basketball because he felt his true calling was football. I'm pretty sure becoming a pro is pretty high on his list of future accomplishments also .. so why go become a Buckeye and be used as a full time blocker, instead of having his talent showcased week in and week out .. all the while competing for a National Championship for as many years as he'll be here?
I'm more worried about Bama and USC to be honest.

This thread is as predictably smug as the very low grade meltdown on tRCMB. You are who we thought you were.
Spartans are unhappy that they lost a top recruit? Yep, just like you would be.
A tiny percent are responding like 8th graders? Just like UM fans.
These message boards - with the lack of maturity and humility that is fostered by anonymity - are probably the worst thing that has happened to our rivalry.
I'm a Spartan with lots of UM friends and we all manage to treat each other like human beings before during and after games regardless of the results. I know recruiting matters, but most reasonable adults just don't give a s#@t, considering the fickle nature of the teenager and the crapshoot of deciding a player's worth before he ever faces real D1 athletes. Michigan won the recruiting war every year of the Spartans 4-0 streak. ND had a top ten class annually with Charlie Wiess's inept tenure there.
Still, I think it's apparent that Harris is going to be really good. Good luck to him and his family.

From the now-locked thread following their interview with Harris:
Izzomsu said... We don't need buckeye fans coming to the MSU board to "conversate" with us about our recruiting efforts or to talk about our program. Stay the hell in Ohio and go live in your trailer. Go to a Wolverine board since both of your programs are in bed with each other.
I've not heard this particular brand of delusion before...do I just need to spend more time on tRCMB, or has this particular Sparty just taken his meds this morning?

No one cares what MSU fans want. MSU is irrelevant when it comes to football. It is filler. The sooner you accept that, the sooner you will stop having meltdowns every time an elite prospect rejects you saying he would rather play for a big boy football program.

Shouldn't Mich at least win its division in football before you brag about it? That's what makes this board entertaining to me...the mutual longing of both Mich and OSU for the 'good ol days' of the 1970s when Bo and Woody spent all year preparing for one game...
