I must say I didn't think OSU would have much of a shot in this recruitment strictly because of the offense they run. However with the national championship remarks that Drake Harris has been making as a key note in his recruitment I now concede that this is going to be a heck of a battle between us and OSU. The kid wants to play for a blue blood. I'm hoping the swaying factor outside of mom, dad, and the rest of the family is our offensive style vs theirs. We will know in due time how much he really does value a vertical passing game.

Honestly .. call me crazy/stupid or whatever .. but I just dont see him ending up a Buckeye. I'm assuming he decided to ditch basketball because he felt his true calling was football. I'm pretty sure becoming a pro is pretty high on his list of future accomplishments also .. so why go become a Buckeye and be used as a full time blocker, instead of having his talent showcased week in and week out .. all the while competing for a National Championship for as many years as he'll be here?
I'm more worried about Bama and USC to be honest.

What massive meltdown are you guys watching? I fully expected 15+ pages already like when it came out Drake loved having Urban stop by his school a few months ago(hell that thread went to over 30 pages with the help of tOSU mouth breathers). Also, what makes you guys so sure Drake is in the bag for Michigan, and don't tell me it is because of his recent number of visits as he has done the same things at MSU.
PS How butthurt and what sort of spin control are you guys going to be using when Drake does commit to Alabama, USC, tOSU, or somewhere else? I think he is playing both in state schools for his own benefit, can't really blame the kid as he is THE wr to get.

Yeah, I would hope so. Seems that's what a decommitment would signify.
It would be a bit foolish to decommit before deciding against MSU.Only chance MSU could possibly have at this point, and I think it's extremely remote, is if Izzo somehow resold him on bball, or if he misses bball at some point.
Fortunately for MSU, it's a position we feel okay at.
One thing is for sure, I'm glad he isn't sticking with MSU while uncertain. It's good he decommitted so both sides can move on.

Last post I make about Drake Harris...
a 4-5 star player in Michigan is a 3 star player in the SEC and even in Ohio. We can easily make up for losing Drake. I am not even concerned. Besides Will Gholston (at times showed tons of potential) has any stud recruit from the state of Michigan pan out to be a great player. Don't give me the excuse about Mark Ingram..anyone running behind that Bama Oline could have won the Heisman that year.

"Besides Tom Gholston" ... huh? If you want to say kids from Michigan don't pan out, you have a decent argument to make with guys like Braylon, Brandon Graham, and Charles Rogers being studs in college who didn't match that success in the NFL. But Tom Gholston is your exception?
. Lamarr Woodley would've been the exception I used.

Great band, their earlier stuff is best. Ever listened to his side project, Ugly Casanova? Do it.

'd up part is .. that's not even really a mean thing to say. The kid was honest in what he believes. Cant fault him. Especially since I'm sure the rest of the population feels the same way.

Drake Harris decommits from Michigan State
