Douglas Accepts Second Chance

  • Honestly, considering that our primary rival is now running a spread, and that we'll have to be able to defend against a spread to compete on a national level, I'm perfectly fine with stocking up on CBs. Especially since Michigan's base defense practically calls for 3 starting CBs. Blake Countess has been excellent, but I never want to have to toss a true freshman to the wolves and bank on him performing like Countess.

glad this happened today. Needed some happiness after yesterday. Very good pick up. Was really hoping to land McQuay but still very happy!

I would liked to have seen LM III in a Michigan uniform as well .... but ... it is not like he did not have a chance to commit.

Yeah, w/ CB's the more the merrier. You play 3 or 4 most of the time with the offenses anymore, and that's assuming everyone of them would pan out (which rarely happens) and stay healthy.

very good point, definetly a position we will need to load even more than usual. Countess was a very pleasant surprise and we definetly can't expect to see many duplicate his success as a true frosh.
